Zaragoza Historia

Real Zaragoza, commonly known as Zaragoza, is a Spanish football club representing the city of Zaragoza. Their nickname is 'Los Maños', referring to the people of the Aragón region. The club has a rich history and a passionate fanbase that supports the team at every match.

Founded in 1932, Real Zaragoza emerged from the merger of two rival teams, Iberia SC and Real Zaragoza CD. Since its inception, the club has seen notable moments, including its promotion to La Liga just before the Spanish Civil War. Over the years, it has achieved success, including victories in the Copa del Rey and European competitions, establishing itself as a traditional club in Spanish football.

El Estadio La Romareda es hogar de Real Zaragoza, con una capacidad de aproximadamente 33,000 espectadores. Inaugurado en 1957, el estadio ha sido testigo de innumerables partidos emocionantes y cuenta con una atmósfera vibrante que resuena con la pasión de los aficionados.

El actual entrenador de Real Zaragoza es Juan Carlos Carcedo, conocido por su estilo de juego ofensivo y táctico. Su enfoque en desarrollar jóvenes talentos ha revitalizado al equipo en las últimas temporadas.

Real Zaragoza competes in La Liga, the top football league in Spain, as well as in the Copa del Rey and other national and international competitions.

Throughout its history, Real Zaragoza has won the Copa del Rey six times and has succeeded in European competitions, including the UEFA Cup Winners' Cup and the Inter-Cities Fairs Cup, reflecting its rich tradition in football.
